I came to Green Wattle Village, Burpengary East in March 2019 and have served as both President and Secretary of the HOC .
I knew almost immediately, that trying to negotiate with Hometown Australia directly wasn’t working and that the Act itself allowed them to rort the system. Being a single pensioner, it is tough trying to make ends meet and I have a real personal interest in achieving success in having the Act changed to protect the residents living in these parks.
